I'll try and smack some docks down.. i already have 8 plus the upgrade that doubles the ships per dock
It's kinda got me broke, I had quite a bit of cash so i splashed down these spa hotels and while 3-4 of them have filled up (all at around 140 effectiveness), there are 6 of em sitting idle just eating up my treasury.
Haven't had the chance to play yet today but I'll try more docks and report back. Also, anyone know how to access the save files? I'm down to upload it if someone would wanna open it up and take a look. It is my best run yet in sandbox
I got the monkeys in a barrel achievement for 50k made in one year on entertainment buildings
Maybe pollution? Is there a pollution overlay? idk
There is a polution overlay, Idk though. I never figured it out. I eventually went bankrupt for all the hotels I had empty using up income
Tourist Interest = Max Tourist Families
Tourist Interest = (Tourism Rating + Tourism Diversity * 2) / 3
Tourism Diversity = The sum of your hotel capacity by class but its maxed at 20 per class so if you only build Spa Hotels your maximum Diversity is going to be 20.
Use the Mod Cap Crusher[www.tropicomodding.org] to allow for more tourist families.
If you put those too far from the road, people wont use it.
Also be sure you've build enough parking and a bunch of Metro station (with the appropirate power supply, of course)
