Is there a mod that increases how much money you can earn per boat load?

I don't mean a modded map with unlimited money turned on and all the resources you need.

I mean a mod that will give say £500,000 per shipment instead of £30,000 per shipment?

Shipments are based on total of what you shipped out, it's not a fixed amount per shipment. What you are asking for would be a mod that changes the value of goods you sell and you'd still need to sell enough to increase your income.

That's basically just a cheat, at which point you might as well just download one of the cheats that gives you unlimited money.

Otherwise, learn how to play and you'll naturally increase how much you sell which will increase how much you get per shipment.

If I wanted to cheat, I would just play using unlimited money setting when creating a sandbox modem, at which point population matters more than money.

I've been playing Tropico since Tropico 3. I think I know how to play the game.

What I want is a mod that makes earning money more like Tropico 4. The money you made in Tropico 4 makes more sense logically, if you are trying to run a small country, than it does with the money you make in Tropico's 5 & 6. Billions vs Millions, if that in some cases. Even the smallest countries in a real world setting make multiple billions of dollars. A country that only makes a million, if they are lucky, wouldn't earn enough money to be able to sustain itself, not unless it was the smallest country on the face of the planet.

Besides which, if I did want to cheat, which I can if I want too, that's my business. As I have said however, I don't.

Did you read the part where I said that I could start the game with infinite money if I wanted too? It's in the sandbox mode settings. If that were cheating, the developers wouldn't have put it in the game, would they? Use your common sense.

Have you seen the mods that allow players to actively cheat, or are you just one of those people who have a problem with people cheating, if they want too, on their own offline Sandbox mode?

What is it with you and the way people choose to play their games? It's not like cheating is not encouraged, and as I have said, I do not want to cheat.

I simply want to make more money, more big numbers. I like big numbers. What's wrong with that? That's what I liked about Tropico 4. I could make big number happen and, if you ask me, that's something that the game's been missing since Tropico 4. That's what made Tropico 4 the best game in the series. There's a reason why so many people still think that Tropico 4 is the best game in the series, and that's part of the reason why. People like big numbers.

For the dozenth time, I could cheat if I wanted too by enabling unlimited money in the Sandbox game settings, but I don't want to use that setting.

How much clearer can I make it?

I've earned over 6.5M in some runs on the World War Era on Tropico 6 now that it's on Xbox Game Pass, so please, don't tell me about how to build a successful economy.

All I want to make is MORE money. That's what we're supposed to be playing the game for. Does it matter how I get it, in MY OFFLINE SANDBOX game?

Mod is short for modifying the game. If you modify how the basic game works, you're using a mod. If that mod makes the game easier to play and it isn't standard gameplay, then it is also a cheat.

I don't consider it cheating when all I want to do is make more money. Not even that actually. I want to make the game more like Tropico 4, which I don't believe that you have played. If you had, you would understand the vastly different amount of earnings that you could make between Tropico 4, 5 and 6. That's entirely in your own head. Where did I say mods or cheats were bad? Or a crime? Or that you shouldn't do it?

You can do whatever you want with your game and it means nothing to me. But if we're going to discuss mods and cheats then I'm going to call them what they are. Some mods only modify minor things like visuals or sounds or add variety, other mods make the game easier and let you cheat. Neither type is a bad thing.

I have tons of modded games. That doesn't make me a hypocrite. Xcom 2 is probably my most modded game, I think I have somewhere near 200 mods installed for it. At least 5% are mods that cheat in some way to make the game slightly easier.

How is that being a hypocrite? Being a hypocrite would imply I somehow told you not to cheat or mod your games while I do.

I loved Tropico 4 and I have 100's of more hours in both games than you.

More to the point, simply giving you more money for shipments isn't going to make Tropico 5 be just like Tropico 4. The underlying mechanics are fundamentally the same, but 5 just happens to be tuned to be a bit more difficult and require you work the exports and trade ships to make more money. 4 did a lot of the work for you, it was a simpler system with a lot more casual pacing. 5 also has managers and other factors to consider.

It's not difficult to make money in 5, it was just even easier in 4.

The easiest way to get what you want is to use the cheater panel (it's literally what it's called) and gift yourself X amount of money each time you get a shipment, because that's what you're asking for, more money with each shipment

I never said you wanted a god mod. I just pointed out that no one took the time to overhaul the game just to try and modify it to give you free money for every shipment since just giving yourself free money is easier.

In which case most of the mods on the workshop page are cheats in your mind. In which case, the Developers WANT us to cheat because of the fact that they have included the unlimited money setting in Sandbox mode.

So what? A lot of games have built in cheats, developer consoles and a variety of tools to alter game play to make it easier.

You make it sound like I'm committing a crime by using a mod to improve an offline game that affects no body but me. That's why I am angry with you. It feels like your pointing the finger. Sitting there calling people who use mods cheaters. Your saying that I don't know how the mechanics work, because I want to use mods, when I've been playing the Tropico series since Tropico 3. It's almost as if your judging me, because I choose to use mods to improve MY game, not yours, not any other gamers game. No one's game but mine.

That's entirely in your own head. Where did I say mods or cheats were bad? Or a crime? Or that you shouldn't do it?

You can do whatever you want with your game and it means nothing to me. But if we're going to discuss mods and cheats then I'm going to call them what they are. Some mods only modify minor things like visuals or sounds or add variety, other mods make the game easier and let you cheat. Neither type is a bad thing.

I have tons of modded games. That doesn't make me a hypocrite. Xcom 2 is probably my most modded game, I think I have somewhere near 200 mods installed for it. At least 5% are mods that cheat in some way to make the game slightly easier.

How is that being a hypocrite? Being a hypocrite would imply I somehow told you not to cheat or mod your games while I do.

Quite the opposite is what's occurring here, I have no issues with you modding or cheating, I don't care at all, and neither you should you care whether I do. That's not hypocrisy even slightly.

I loved Tropico 4 and I have 100's of more hours in both games than you.

More to the point, simply giving you more money for shipments isn't going to make Tropico 5 be just like Tropico 4. The underlying mechanics are fundamentally the same, but 5 just happens to be tuned to be a bit more difficult and require you work the exports and trade ships to make more money. 4 did a lot of the work for you, it was a simpler system with a lot more casual pacing. 5 also has managers and other factors to consider.

It's not difficult to make money in 5, it was just even easier in 4.

The easiest way to get what you want is to use the cheater panel (it's literally what it's called) and gift yourself X amount of money each time you get a shipment, because that's what you're asking for, more money with each shipment

I never said you wanted a god mod. I just pointed out that no one took the time to overhaul the game just to try and modify it to give you free money for every shipment since just giving yourself free money is easier.
