Please fix PC controls. PLEASE!

I know this has probably been asked for a lot. But there's some obvious problems with PC control.

1) no WASD panning (forgivable in modern age except for 1.5).

1.5) No mouse panning either when holding down right click or middle mouse?
a) either remove right click to bring up the build menu
b) or rebind middle mouse pan to Q/E or something.

2) rotation is bound to mouse wheel when one of the main times you need to zoom is when placing a building. This should be the R key and rotate step each time.

This honestly makes gameplay extremely frusturating for me without using a controller. I don't think I'm alone in this either.

Hopefully in this or the next tropico this will be fixed to cater more to people who just want to play a great keyboard and mouse strategy game.

I'll second your request. Though Tropico 5 is a great game, the map control has always felt a bit clunky when compared with other games.

Hello Tag Wolf.
You can easily set the controls of panning on the keys you like and prefer.
Simply head to the ingame options, select the tab hotkeys and use for Pan Up - W, for Pan Down - S, for Pan Left - A and for Pan Right - D.

I don't know if there's already a topic about it (I couldn't find it), but here it goes... The first time I started the game I had the joystick plugged in (though I would not and did not use it), so the game detected it and the joystick became the main form of control in the game. And it keeps that way, even though the joystick is no longer plugged in. And in the options I can't change it.

The cursor selection system is just annoying... Why is this big cursor even exists? It has no point in the game except make it more difficult to select things. It should be just point and select, just like any other good game. It already has the arrow cursor, doesn't need another huge cursor to annoy all of us...

And the road construction is just sooo difficult using the keyboard/mouse. It's so messy and makes me wanna cry.

Got the solution by accident: use WASD while having ALT pressed.
