Alternatively Tropico 4 is very good biggest gripe being ranch's / Plantations not "showing" "needed" when placed, *could* have been fixed by dev / simple mod, but wasn't (almost like they wanted you to buy T5!)
If Tropico 6 is a mash up of 4/5 would consider buying it on release day (not likely given the nikle n dime approach to DLC's this dev has)
As for the comments about bits of the game being ripped out of 5 to be sold as dlc... Well, yeah. The wind turbine jumps out as that immedietly.
Still, as for this game not being worth getting? Meh. I like how some of things that were done in 5, but I prefer how some things were done in 4. T5 is a great game, but comparing it against 4 gets the same argument that Alien 1 and 2 get - Both are equally great movies, it's just that each had their own way of doing things which turns some fans of one off of the other.
I'm not going to list off everything I like about one game over the other, though a couple things are worth mentioning - The almanac in 4 was, imo, done a lot better than what 5 offered but 5s' way of handling farming/ranching is signifigantly better than how 4 handled em.
