Many questions
So I've started playing tropico now for the very first time, never played the old ones.
I started on the hardest settings on everything, y'know to have some fun. I struggled a little bit to get people approval, was stuck on 30 - 34%, but eventually managed to get on 50%+

Anyways...
1 - Does happines effect stacks from the same building? For instance, will each militar tower gives me 10 against crime? Will each church gives me 45 for religion? Or it only counts for the first building and none else? Asking this cuz, I spammed some military towers and my crime approval was getting pretty low, plus the name of military tower was showing 10 for security instead of the total amount towers combined.
2 - Does the budget affects the efficiency of etertainment for tavern, religion for church, security for military tower and so on and so fort? I've put some buildings with budget 1 and others with 5, they seemed to give the exactty same bonuses for pop happiness in their specific areas no matter what.
3 - What is the area of effect of buildings such tavern, church etc?
4 - Does non commercial buildings, like house, library, news paper, requires roads at all? It seems it doesn't.
5 - For finite resources, how do I see how much is left after building it up?
5.1 Does fish regenerate or when it's depleted it's gone forever?
6 - Does president level up carry over for the next campaign map or not?
7 - How do I get more dynasty members?
8 - Can I merry? How?
9 - In order to find the faction leader, I just need to have the luck of clicking on him? Do I need something more, maybe a search or something?
10 - I know goat farm gives more milk than cattle and pig gives more meat than cattle.
But say I have 1 goat farm and 1 pig farm, if I build 2 cattle farms, which one will give me more meat/milk in total? Assuming they all were built on a similar good area.

Kinda off topic, but I've noticed the taxes aren't very high infact it's almost inexistent, almost my entire income comes from exportation. I mean, say I increase the budget of a building, the workers there will get a improved economic condition, however my taxes doesn't seems to be abled to absorb the raise they had, also civilians with better economy doesn't seems to be willing to consume more products at all, like theater, tavern, food (if the indict is applied)... It's kinda odd, because by having a population with a better income, the commercial area should receive a better income, so they'll be abled to upgrade their business, hire more employers (which will generate more consumption), which will be converted into taxes revenue.

Another oddity that I found on this game, is that I am supposed to select an area which will become urban, selecting the titles size and price to sell it, then the civilians supposed to purchase it from me, built their own houses and upgrade it based on their personal wealth, I shouldn't have to provide them with food, I shouldn't have to built houses to rent... Why they don't do it own them own? Well, I suppose it's for game balance. Still having lot of fun with the game, these things just bugged me, cuz y'know, doesn't make any sense.

1) There's a diminishing return, and I think it's also a bit percentage based for some of the entertainment/religious buildings (ie, if you have a Cathedral on full budget/max workers, and you have 600 population, your religious happiness will be around 60%, <400/600>)

2) You should pretty much always use max budget, since it increases building Effectiveness and Job Happiness.

3) Tropicans will travel quite a ways to a tavern if it's out of their area, but they won't be very happy about it, and it takes time away from more important things: like making you money. They have a set amount of clients they will service (see point 1).

4) Putting non-commercial buildings near roads can speed up how fast your Tropicans reach the buildings (see point 3) and will improve the effectiveness of some of the later buildings (like Apartments).

5) Click on the building/resource point. It will tell you how much of the resource is left on one of the information tabs.
5.1) Wharfs have an upgrade mid-game that will help them replenish slowly, otherwise you can and will run out.

6) Yes, as long as you save the Dynasty levels will remain throughout subsequent games.

7) Complete different tasks (baby on the way - build a church; fulfill other nation's tasks, etc.)

8) Nope. El Presidente procreates through mitosis.

9) You should be able to find a faction's leader through their tab in the Almanac.

10) It will vary based on budget, amount of workers, use of managers, abundance of corn, pollution levels, and whether or not your Teamsters get off their keesters and haul goods around.

The edicts (no free food, paid healthcare, etc) are basically your taxes, but they're really not worth very much. Exports, Tourism, and tasks/foreign financial aid are your main sources of income.

Left to their own devices Tropicans will slap shacks down close to their places of employment (or pretty much wherever they can). These are the lowest, shoddiest form of housing in the game, and your Housing Happiness/Crime Rating will take a comparitive hit. Country houses are a good choice if you're having trouble keeping everyone fed (it feeds it's residents). You can have your entire population fed and happy with Country Houses/Apartments (with a few groceries and farms about). Consider it just another form of resource management (without happy workers your economy will stall out and fail as you fight off Rebels).

Good luck, El Presidente!

I had each food type suply and income running smoothly, well except from fish that is.
I did built many houses, because aparently citizens on shacks count as homeless, also it increases the crime rating as you've mentioned, forces them to travel to food production places in order to eat (time travel lost), and I guess it also decrase the beauty? Sure shacks are a really bad thing, but the point is, citizens aren't supposed to be abled to built their own shacks without firstly building the titles/permit containing their lots with specific size, for a pre determinated/selected urban area for construction, also they should be abled to upgrade their houses based on their personal wealth. It just brought it up, because it's kinda odd.

Yeah. Cleary this is a development decision. I guess they wanted to simplify the things and micro manageament perhaps?

Well, I've opened the alamarc and selected every single citizen supporter of the enemy faction, I looked their opinion and the overall profile, but I didn't noticed anything that claimed them to be the leader.
Also once I find the leader, shouldn't them be in the category of 'special people?'
I was wanting to fabricate something against him/her in order to gain more support of the population which would be so outraged by a such vile person, but didn't happen, luckly I managed without it.
