Any tips for glimmering spells?
Outside of spamming spells anyways. Or is it just down to luck?

I'm on the last emperor and I have the final battle looming over me, I just would like to expand what spells I know.

Edit:
I should also mention that I have found all of Mr. S' locations.

It's just down to luck.

It's a bit harder to glimmer new spells if you use Fusion Spells instead of single-element spells, but that's about it.

Oh... And grab all 50 Mr. S to increase your Glimmer Chances, I guess.

And uhn... At this point it probably doesn't matter much, but the Albions in Lake Wyringa is the enemy with the highest Glimmer Level in the game, which essentially means it's easier to glimmer techs/spells from it than from any other mob... Though I don't think any spell has a high-enough glimmer level to make this matter much when comparing Albion to other endgame enemies. This is more useful for particularly hard to glimmer techs, like Still Blade.

Ah, and you need a high enough level on your spell school to be able to glimmer a spell... Let me get the list for you.

The number in brackets is the number you need to have in the spell school to be able to glimmer the spell. The other number is the glimmer difficulty of the spell (basically, enemies with higher glimmer level than the glimmer difficulty will have an easier time letting you glimmer the spell...)

Pyrology:
[21] Fireball II - 25
[1] Self-Immolation - 10
[13] Flame Whip - 16
[22] Sunspot Destroyer - 31
[29] Reviver - 39

Hydrology:
[11] Water Blast II - 18
[9] Life Water II - 18
[20] Life Water III - 28
[1] Physic Water - 5
[7] Mist Cover - 14
[13] Water Dance - 22
[26] Hasten Time - 36

Terrology:
[1] Entangle - 9
[11] Earth Heal - 15
[20] Earth Heal II - 33
[18] Stone Shower - 29
[28] Gilden Shield - 38

Aerology:
[1] Air Screen - 12
[8] Missile Shield - 17
[17] HP Absorb - 21
[25] Fujin Blade - 35

Cosmology:
[1] Moonlight - 7
[9] Moonlight II - 22
[10] Sunlight - 16
[20] Sword Barrier - 28
[30] Galactic Rift - 40

Umbrology:
[1] Horror - 15
[10] Claw Barrage - 20
[20] Deadly Drive - 26
[30] Shadow Servant - 38

Fusion:
[26] Fire Wall II - 35
[26] Light Wall II - 40

And here are Albion's Glimmer Levels for easy reference, based on Global Enemy Level:

1: 17
2: 19
3: 21
4: 23
5: 25
6: 27
7: 29
8: 31
9: 33
10: 35
11: 37
12: 39
13: 41
14: 43
15: 44
16: 45

And since I'm at it, might as well post the glimmer chances chart too. It's basically a comparison between tech/spell level with the enemy level... The higher the enemy level is when compared to tech/spell level, the higher the glimmer chance... Though the highest chance is when enemy level is the exact same as the tech/spell level, but that's really hard to manipulate in the remake:

+6: 10%
+5: 9.6%
+4: 9.2%
+3: 8.8%
+2: 8.4%
+1: 8%
0: 20%
-1: 6.4%
-2: 3.2%
-3: 1.6%
-4: 0.8%
-5: 0.4%
-6 or less: 0%

Okay, that's what I figured.

And based on the list you gave, I seem to have most of the spells. (less spells than I would have thought)

Thanks for the detailed info.
