I instantly changed to Japanese VA once I started playing more out of habit than anything, but... Well, if you don't like the English VA, go for the Japanese one.

I'm hesitant to switch to Japanese because the dialogue seems to auto-advance with no option to disable that.

Also the combat barks aren't subtitled.

I also tried the VA eng, but I changed to the Japanese one.. much better. I find it more immersive, and since it's a Japanese game I prefer to play with the Japanese audio.

I just noticed that the abbreviation for Japan is automatically censored.. lol

God, yeah, I loved it. If you can't stand a bit of hokey cheese in your VA, JRPGs might not be the genre for you. Embrace the camp.

Considering how turn-based RPGs have been around since long before VA has become a thing... I don't see how there is any logic in this statement.
