Are there any list regarding any quests that are high in priorities to be tackled early on due to one generation clear or required multiple time shifts?
For the Heroes order, i do left Kzinssie alone, so i got all the revenue maxed out (although the bottom right corner map still not colonized, but i think it cannot be done as the progression bar already full)
I do abdicate the emperor once, although its for Amazoness Class as i play Male heroes most of the time. I do want to play the Empress for NG+ for getting another weapon and try magic-centric gameplay. That also mean most of my formation are melee-speed centric, so i missed some of the formation (not sure of boss quest dropped formation such as goblin one).
it require next generation however to inherit her ability together with an achievement.

other than that ,i think you are already aware as you mentioned but
afaik mermaid (dancer), armed merchant and salamander/diviner (each with their respective dungeon (seer citadel for salamander, emerged island for diviner)) are the classes where people missed a lot
For exemple, Martial artist quest won't trigger a change as you do not capture a territory. Naiads are a free pick as you don't capture territory while doing the quest. You can also save the mole people in Savana to activate their recovery timer at that point, if you don't talk to the village chief after.
That kind of things. Unless quest auto capture territory ( such as the early fortress one ), you're basically free to do the quests and not talk to the person afterward to activate timers, unlock linked areas and get aditional classes that do not require territory capture. Some part of the quest might have to be redone though, and some minor bosses might respawn.
carefull though, as some quests imply sacrfying a generation to get a specific reward and might be blocked if you don't do it with the generation that trigerred it. For exemple, the dancer class require that you end that specific generation in a specific way to be obtainable. Stack too much of such cases at the same time, and you might end up in impossible choices locking you from getting something.
I got coppelia but at the Final Emperor generation so i missed the formation, think i'll do the bridge building in earlier generation as soon as it pops out. But do the ability can be learned by making coppelia empress? as i what happened in my playthrough is i can only learn it but not mastered it.
I have last question (i hope), what happened if i do some quests that resulting in liberating an area when report in, but i left it on purpose for the next generation to just submit the quest. Will that case forced to proceed another generation shift or not ? (Haven't tried it yet, but seems possible logically)
Thank you :)
Depends on the quest and where you stoped. Some will reset to a point, some will stay in the state you left them, some might fail.
For exemple. I left the Mu nomad tribe alone after completing the area and killed the Termite queen in savana without talking to the village chief after that. Both quest completion would trigger a generation change. First thing I did as new generation was to talk to their respective leader which allowed me to capture both territory immediatelly, without a generation change. I was even allowed to freely recruit the mole people right after.
On the other hand, I tried to do the canal fortress capture first thing. Not only does it reset to the point you have to kill the sewer boss again, but it immediatelly triger a generation change, even if I fought 10-20 times and did only that quest. Although that time, you're awarded the thief class right after killing the sewer boss and not after the fortress capture
Thanks for the clarification, so maybe i'll just tackle whichever requires strict time frame then finish the rest. or just reload save if it does forced a generation shift to prioritize the result.
Thank you for the comments :)
