Leave a review.
First time seriously trying this series and I am very impressed with what this team has managed to do with the remake. Gorgeous artwork and animations. Deep mechanics while being introduced in an easy to understand manner.

If you do like the game (or don’t, for whatever reason) make sure you go leave a review. There’s less than 100 at this time and I’d like for them to keep remaking the others and work on new titles.

Regarding the low amount of reviews, i's a little early to be leaving reviews of a 40-60 hour JRPG :P

Yes, that’s a fair point.

What I usually do is review early on after spending a few hours in, then edit my review later once I have more playtime in.

It's probably the easiest SaGa game to get into so far for newer players and feeling fresh for nostalgic veterans of the series at the same time. I'm absolutely blown away how they kept it the same, yet different feeling somehow while it's still nostalgic and fresh feeling despite numerous RS2 runs over the years.

Hated the original/remaster because the enemies level up with you and the vague mechanics. Remake solved all problems I had and includes difficulty options. Normal is just the right speed.

From what I've read, dying is supposedly encouraged to get stronger, but I am very much against that. I get too attached to the party I'm rolling with and being able to swap out party members at the bar really should have been a feature in the base game.
One big plus is that a time skip doesn't trigger from a set number battles, only through events and death will force me to choose a new emperor.
