Entirely new to the series. So quick question!
Not even entirely new though since I haven't bought it yet, but I am a JRPG enthusiast so I'm pretty damn interested. Do I need to have played SaGa 1 before playing this or am I free to jump right in?

Ye, none of the SaGa games have any connections with each other, they're all self-contained.
