Also, not sure why you'd ever consider PS5 in this instance (or any instance for that matter that isn't exclusivity). You being a Steam Deck owner and someone who has a capable PC, there's no reason to ever buy a multi-platform title on Playstation.
But the full game isn't recognizing my demo save to load it up. I had the same problem when trying to jump from the FFXVI demo to the full game, I guess that's a Deck thing. Does anyone know how to fix that?
Been having the same issue with other games and found it's due to saving the demo in a different folder. You can mess around with it (Metaphor Refantazio was similar) or just install both the game and demo to desktop then start up and transfer that way. It'll upload to the cloud and should begin working on Steam Deck.
So to try not get confused, i do have a fully capable PC, however I tend to play rpg games in downtime from PC games usually from the comfort of my bed, or in between rounds of games *as en example escape from tarkov, I'll be playing an rpg game either on deck or ps5 whilst waiting for the next round* i never really play them at my computer as weird as it sounds
