Another thing to watch out for: if you've progressed the Wagnas quest to the point where the floating castle takes off, if the castle is floating over Yuyan, you won't be able to talk to the bartender until the castle moves to another location.

Talk to the tavern owner in Yuyan who mentions the Irises. This starts the bard’s quest. Also you must have access to Zemio with the Salamanders around.

Ah. That must be it, I haven't done that yet. TYVM :steamthumbsup:

This is indeed what happened. Meaning unless defeating the Termite Queen makes the castle move, I surmise that I won't be able to meet the Iris until the next time skip.
