You can't recruit Salamander and Diviner in the same playthrough anyway, so NG+ is recommended.

Yeah, that's the problem. I didn't get Salamander's formation despite recruiting him, since I never crowned him emperor. And now I'm Coppelia, and I need to get her ability through finding her in the storage after abdicating/timeskipping, and it's the last generation with no abdications left. Oh well

You can still switch emperors by getting a party wipe. This will also let yiu abdicate again. Final Emperor is only triggered by defeating the fifth hero.

Yes, but I don't think I can trigger Coppelia appearing in storage + giving me her ability that way

Don't you have to wipe with coppelia to make her show up in the storage anyway?
Might be wrong but i thought tomeskips/abdications didnt do the job.

With the Coppelia thing, I'd suggest just testing it out.

In the original you needed to get a timeskip with her as Empress to make her appear in the storage, but this might have been changed.

Just save the game and try party wiping. If she doesn't appear there, just load.
