Cumberland event question *spoiler
I heard that this event it´s the one that changes the most depending on your actions. I heard that if you fail or ignore it you get a new event and you end up annexing Cumberland and recruiting crusaders anyway, but a little later. How does that work?

I also heard that if you leave right before the part where you need to go to Fort Cyfreet you lose Cumberland and Crusader for the rest of the game.

So what do I need to do to trigger this new event? Ignore it completly, play it partly but not until the dungeon at the end?

Thanks in advance

If you have a time skip before finishing the quest, or if you die, abdicate, or choose to leave Cumberland during any of the choice prompts in the quest, the follow-up quest will trigger. You still annex Cumberland and unlock Crusader after finishing this new quest.

Cumberland has two different scenarios, Cumberland and Fallen Cumberland.

Fallen Cumberland is the fail state of the quest, that happens if you don't do it in the generation immediately after Gerrard, die/abdicate, or leave Cumberland due to a quest prompt telling you to do so (in the original this happened if you left Cumberland at all during the quest).

Both the normal version and fallen version give you access to the Crusaders and annex Cumberland.

Clearing normal Cumberland gives you a unique passive skill.

Clearing fallen Cumberland gives you access to an extra chest and makes Bokhohn get access to its 2nd form.
