How is the performance on lower end machines?
I just looked at min specs and found out, that with my i3 3.3ghz and gforce 550Ti just closely meeting minimum requirements. So i would like to now, if it runs ok on close to minimum config.
I am pretty sceptic about this, because Evolution with even smaller requirements runs not-quite-well and with my current config i run almost every other game on mid-high settings.

Ha! Sup, hardware bro! I'm on an i3 @ 3.3 ghz and a 550Ti as well! :D

Game has noticeable slowdown on high details. Switching the global preset to Medium doesn't really take away anything noticeable from the visuals but gameplay smooths itself out to very nice levels. I will probably run a fps counter tonight and report specific numbers.

Bear in mind that I had no real fps issued with Evo Gold, though. Just random slowdown on 2-3 official tracks and some customs.

Thanks, this is what i wanted. I can sacrifice some visuals when fps will be stable. In the end, i spent most of time in Trials on T2:SE :)

even on lowest settings it ranges anywhere from 40 to 60 fps with noticable slowdown

Thanks Seb, i already learned that a hard way. Even when fps counter shows 40 it is slowed down. Hopefully they will fix that with patch.
Btw Snake you didnt have any slowdowns?

Edit: i just read on oficial forums, that they know about this and it should be fixed on friday patch

out of date pc will run like ♥♥♥♥ so go buy a ps4 instead.

Basically, when I set the game on Medium (this sets FSAA off, Shadows to Low, World to Medium), I can run it pretty smoothly. Changing any of those three settings to a higher level causes slowdown.

If i would have money for ps4 i rather upgrade my pc and i can still run BF 4 on medium + settings with stable 60fps so its not THAT out of date

I run it at low... Win 7. But its still BETA so i will hopefully see some promised performance patch

Did anyone try running this on a Radeon HD 4870/4890 or GTX 260/280 with 1 GB? I'm wondering if this game would run smoothly at lowest settings. I know it's time for a new PC, but there are some games I want to wait for first so I can play them at max. settings when they are released.

i have an hd 6870 and even with that my fps are somewhere in the 50s. is your gfx card even supported?

That's what I tried to find out, too. Min. requirements say DirectX 10. But they also state Shader Model 5.0 which is DirectX 11. I will just buy the game and tell you if it runs at all. If it doesn't I will have to wait with playing it until I have my new PC. I'm a huge Trials Evolution fan, so I really hope it somehow works at low settings.

EDIT: I only played through the first set of tracks, but it worked fine without a problem! I was running at 60 FPS most of the time at medium settings. I had some very short drops to 57 or even 53 FPS, but nothing really bad. At one point it dropped to 44 FPS, but really short so it was pretty much unnoticeable. I'm really surprised how well this game works. I would even say it runs better than Trials Evolution Gold!

My PC specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 (2x 3.16 GHz)
ATI Radeon HD 4870 with 1 GB VRAM (DirectX 10.1!)
4 GB DDR2-800 RAM

even with only a dual core cpu? thats surprising

Played through all the tracks now on medium settings. It was running pretty well (I had the FPS displayed by the game and most of the time it was at 60 FPS). I'm surprised as well. My CPU is pretty much what they recommend as minimum specs, it's only a little bit slower than an i3 550. (Single core performance of the C2D seems to be even better than the i3.) Maybe they aren't even using more than 2 cores anyway.

i think i found a temporary solution. When i run it in a window even at high setings, fps drops max to 40, but no slowdowns. unfortunatelly patch didnt solve it on fullscreeen
