Tips from the pros
Heys guys i am struggling with 2 skills you lads seem to have down pat.
1 is the bunny hop onto a vertical wall, now the bunny hop is not my problem its sticking to the wall, most times when i attempt that move the bike will touch move ever so slightly upwards and bounce off. Common thing thing with the pit viper i know.
2 is say there is a large vertical wall (like a square) in front of you and you want to get over it onto the flat bit, sure i can do it on the hard maps but those maps give me enough space to lean forward, but im talking about the extreme maps where you climb a steep wall first.
I want to up my skill level from mediocre for apprentice ninja and eventually master ninja but im struggling on my own, any tips would be appreciated, cheers.

assuming you're using a controller...?
vertical wall climbs are one of the hardest technics to learn in trials.
one of the most important things (besides throttle control) is the first landing on the wall.
you should try to land with the back wheel first. sometimes it helps if you let go the throttle before you touch it with the back wheel and accelerate as soon as both wheels are one the wall.
you still have to adjust the speed while climbing the wall in order make it all the way up which takes time.
if you're not sure how it is suppoesed to look you should always check the replay of someone and pay close attention how he does it.
however once you have the technic down, depending on the difficulty you might still not be able to do it yet due simply not having developed the muslce memory to pull it off.

not quite sure what you mean on nr. 2 but i hope you already heard of the 'fapping' technic.
basically once you get your front wheel on the flat platform you can use this technic to create momentum out of nothing to force your back wheel to move up and get on to the platform.
so while you're on your front wheel you have to press full throttle and spam the 'break' button.
if you're using a xbox controller you spam the 'x' button while holding the right trigger. you have to use the button to spam instead of the trigger because it would be to slow and thus not creating enough momentum.

in general i find the best way to improve your skills is to constantly challenge yourself.
meaing once you're comfortable on extremes you should try and beat all ninja level 1's and after that go to level 2's and so on.
you will find out that some tracks are significantly harder than others even tho they're considered the same level/difficulty.
so going from a easy level 1 to a hard level 1 let alone a level 2 can be a major step.
if you want i could name you a bunch of level 1's (from easy to hard) to minimize the frustration of playing tracks that are simply to hard for you at the moment.

last but not least it is very important to know that with each difficulty your skill progression will become slower and slower. due some tracks taking so much skill and precision you get to the point you might think you're stuck, you're going to have some off days in which you play even worse. but the truth is you're always imporving. it might take you some days to realize that.
every ninja rider that is considered good has alot of playing time. alot of them have played the previous games for years.
just keep on going.
cheers

Thanks mate, i will take your advice to heart and keep working at it until hard things become easy, i have not heard of the fapping teacnique (outside of the real thing) i never use the buttons other than b for restart and y for bailout. Learn something new every day.

i should've said that the 'fap' technic does not work well with keyboard. if at all...
