Trials Fusion not working on SteamDeck despite being verified. uPlay launcher opens but nothing else. How is this verified?

I've seen youtube videos of it running but I'm getting nowhere. I bought it in the steam ubisoft sale as it was verified and it does not work. Any ideas?

I have the same Problem with this Game and Trackmania Turbo. All solutions you can find are not working. The game have to start with Ubisoft Connect and not with the old uplay, that is the problem.

I can get it to play from Desktop mode, but I had to install Lutris (then install Ubisoft Connect from within Lutris, then install Trials Fusion from the Ubisoft Connect app). The only thing I haven't worked out is how to unlock the game, even though my steam account is linked to Ubisoft Connect.

There is a solution from jolty in a neighbor thread of Trackmania Turbo. You have to copy the files in the folder with the id 245490 (Trials Fusion) instead of 375900 (Trackmania Turbo).

To see the right path, you have to check "Show Hidden Files" in the file manager.

Trials Fusion FIXED for Steamdeck

1. Install Trackmania (The free to play 2023 version) from the Steam store
2. Load Trackmania and sign in with your Ubisoft Connect name and password
3. Quit the game
4. Then goto steam desktop mode
5. Copy ~/.steam/root/steamapps/compatdata/2225070/pfx/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Ubisoft
6. Paste ~/.steam/root/steamapps/compatdata/245490/pfx/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Ubisoft
7. Go back to steam gaming mode and launch trials fusion, sign in with your ubisoft ID and password and the game will work.

use proton experimental and it still works on the deck
