Can't play in fullscreen

When starting the game all I get is a black screen and an error popup that says "Failed to initialise 3D Engine:..\..\..\src\app_game.cpp 292"

The game seeems to run alright in windowed mode but I don't want to have to play like that.

I never did find a solution, I just gave up. Lemme know if you get it fixed

The files you need to delete (actually just prefs.ini) is in
\my documents\my games\democracy3
