Preventing Internet Crime/ Cyber warfare?
This is getting annoying. My police and intelligence are maxed out but this won't stop.

I'm having the same problem with the Skill Shortage malus. It's devastating to GDP, and that wrecks the country in short order. Time to go back to the 80's and a less technologically advanced society.

The one and only counter I've found that isn't completely morally objectionable?

Taxation.

internet cencorship should help a bit

For crime in general community patrols are great, not just for the crime but also to not be shot by the african-american population when they find out that you are not a black president.
Apparently they go all black panther proud and bust up in the White House like they own the joint.

Cause internet crime in real life would crush a GDP? rofl.
This is what we get for Internet piracy. This is how it all started.

Yeah I agree, Internet Censorship is perhaps the best way to deal with Internet Crime and Cyber Warfare, and you also get to take the moral high ground whilst cranking it up.
As I said before, this morally objectionable path is not necessary. Just make internet crime too expensive for the criminals.

Internet Taxation will do this quite nicely, and make your government some money to boot. As long as it's not too overboard, it won't harm your Tech scores that much.

Internet censorship helps with internet crime but here is what completely takes out cyber warfare even with a high GDP. Higher your foreign relations by putting in a little bit of foreign aid.

The key is to raise your intelligence spending before you get the tech advantage

Here's a nice article from the Australian Institute of Criminologyhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_Institute_of_Criminology called the 9 Types of Cyber Crime[www.crime.hku.hk].

A more recent example would be the Cyber Terrorist group known as Anonymous and their hacking of street traffic control to cause confusion and/or humor with their modification to information boards. Of course when this finally reached it's logical conclussion and someone died as a result of their hacking, the group denied all responsibility, though some members did anonymously state that Anonymous was responsible, no one stepped forward to take the blame. Bunch of cowardly rats.

Thanks for the advice you just helped me make a perfect capitalist American government with no redsand 3 greens

This is why you pay foreign aid. It boosts relations to the point that you are no longer involved in cyber warfare.
