Compulsory voting means mandatory (required) voting. a Monarchy is a government led by a king or queen (a monarch). Out of complete curiosity, how old are you?

I was under the assumption that when you enabled Monarchy, there were no elections, or it was a secession style of gameplay. Does it have any effects?

Sorry,I knew what a monarchy was,I was in a moment of stupidity.
Its worth noting that monarchy = constitutional monarcy in the game. So even if your country has a king all it does is give you special events since they are just figureheads.
