Anything like Republic: The Revolution

I have the fantastic "Republic: The Revolution" -Elixir Studios -published by Eidos Interactive...but its not on steam and wont save the game.
If this game had simular interaction as Republic it would become a favorite, but it doesn't appear too.
In Republic you physically have rallys to boost support in that area, can send your people to disrupt opponents rallys, you knock on doors to recuit candidates, a national anthem, but this game doesn't seem to have a 3D-world. {almost textbook Ukraine/Crimea}

I have read that this game is missing depth of content, and I would say Republic also needed some hard stratagy statistics, so if the Devs could marry the two games ?? ==>>

I wish somebody would mod Republic for modern computers. I always liked the conception. Democracy 3 appears to be much, much more abstract.

It ran no prob on win7 just wouldn't save and I couldn't leave PC running for ever
