How to install mods?

I have extracted mods in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Democracy 3
But i cant se any mods?

What am i doing wrong?

My social engineering expansion is gone, i bought it, played it and then, i was chaneing what mods to play and now i can't play social enginerring? I Need help.

I was experementing Mira and managed to uninstall the social engineering dlc too. To restore it, I simply verified the game's files and the missing mod files were restored. You can likely skip directly to the third step of that KB article.

As for manually installing mods, I believe there also needs to be a mod config file within "..common\Democracy 3\data\mods". Workshop mods will handle this automatically, manual mods from the forums likely include the relevent file or give instructions. If not, you can simply create a new .txt file to do the same thing (open an existing config file to see how it's done!).

If you unzip a mod into the same folder as the game, it should (if its a zip with the files set up right) stick the new folder AND the new mod file in the correct place. If not, check the discussion forums for mods on the positech website for information from the mod designer.
