Does anyone know how to make items as a Gadgeteer?

Sure do. Use the "merge items" function, while in the gadgeteers inventory. The first possible combination is, IIRC, the hinged box and the puppet, both in Arnika. After that just rub any strange and unique items you have together, hope they mate and produce a gadget.

Indeed, merging gadgets should be relatively easy. Most strange items are either quest items or gadget components. Some are even relatively logic to combine.

THe only thing I've noticed, it that a Dagger + Dagger combo gives you a 'Double-strike Dagger'. My Rogue currently uses one. As did Myles when he was in my party!

Also, Im using one of Flamestryke's mods and you can get a 'Missile Launcher' (just the same as a 'Magic Missiles' spell - sorry!) very early on...very early on :D

Plus, I know of other mods that have extra Gadget recipies too.

There`s actually two recipes I know of that are in the code but not actually the game. One is an upgrade to the Jack in the Box using an item that would have been found in Rapax castle, giving it the ability to cast Psionic Blast instead of Terror and two items that when combined would give an item that casts Shadow Hound, the only reason my Samurai has air magic skill.

She`s for hitting things with sharp sticks of metal and casting the buffs. Can`t widen the focus too much or she`s just going to be bad at everything.

I had a samurai in the expert ironman run, focused on strenght + intelligence, and it turned out to be a great character.
