Hmmm I *think* its lvl 30 due to the obscene ammount of Xp needed to lvl past mid 20's....never got far enough to hit the cap tho....
Maybe I'll try on this current playthrough :plane:

Unless they raised it, it should be level 50.

That mean i can't max all stats & skills.
That mean i should not raise all skills what can be raised by using them in fight.

You get plenty to raise your stats and skills, usually the skills take over from real time use for leveling up by 30 or so anyways. And you can't add skill points from 75 on, after that they just get raised through use. Many skills will easily level up through passive playing, like artifact will go up just by picking things up. If it gets raised, go through and try to re-id all the unidentified ones. Also xp is alot easier to gain the fewer players in a party.

Just remember that Humans have the highest starting point total of all Races in the game. Humans are 5-15 points higher, which means you can more easily achieve the 100 point bonuses.

Even still, my dwarf monk/bishop is on track to hit 100 in every stat except senses at exactly 50. And while the xp might seem hard to get, he's been my only character in the party since start. So the xp is not divided up at all, and 600k-2mil xp per battle is pretty common in swamps or rapax rift. Heading in to castle next, to get xp and book drops for any that are missing for various reasons.

You can gain 50 levels per class, except males can not be valkyrie. when you hit the level up for level 51 of a particular class, just change classes instead. If you don't, you won't gain any hp/mana/etc for that level. however, most times you're level 25-30ish when you finish the game.
I've completed every character class. Now i'm thinking about doing the ultimate grind fest. Max skills in every class in 1 character.

Necromancing an 11 year-old thread, impressive
I've read about people leveling to 50. It amount of time required is astounding!

About grinding to level 50, yeah, you can do that, but you might find watching paint dry or winter ice melt to be much more exciting and invigorating.

This is one of those games where the quest xp is a big part of your levels (especially the final umpani/trang)

I think you can even fight once through all areas and still be like level 22
In addition, except for level difference between the character and enemy your characters stop improving at around level 30.

Multi-classing two classes to level 25 each would probably make the strongest possible character. I will wait here for you to report on it. :steamhappy:

IMO, if properly designed to not peak early, single classing to level 25 or so creates the strongest, by far, Level 25 characters (that still have not peaked).

Ninja/fighter dual is a force of nature
