Creating the Double-Shot Crossbow.
What level does my gadgeteer need to be to do it? I know I've made one in the past, but I forget what levels of what my Gadgeteer had when I did it, and I can't do it quite yet on my current playthrough. Wondering what needs to be at what level so that I don't need to quit wasting time trying to combine them for nothing.

JeffLudwig doesn't say how to combine weapons. They have a list of actual gadgets, but not combinable weapons. I also use Zimlab regularly, particularly for tips on leveling up the classes I use, but have yet to find where it states required levels for combining. It's not really laid out for easy navigation from one place to another. Sorcerers doesn't have an easy way to find any information about combining weapons, either.

I've tried Google and have had all three of those places come up as results, but have yet to actually find the info I'm looking for. None of them seem to mention what levels you need to be for a Gadgeteer, they all only mention that a Gadgeteer can combine light crossbows into a Double or Triple Shot bow.

IIRC, it's 35 Engineering for a double crossbow and 70 for a triple crossbow. Merge two light crossbows for the double; merge a light and a double for the triple. Heavy crossbows will not work for this.

@ Syrris. I concur, Lvl 35 for Double Crossbow & 70 for Triple. You can also do this with Sling's same lvl requirements.

You *may* also need some Throw/Bow & Dexterity requirements, so if you at the required level and still cannot 'merge', shout back and I'll dig up those too.
