I actually got some use out of this in my 4 Giants game. I had a Mook Lord (perhaps one of the worst race/class combos in the game) that was basically contributing nothing beyond sponging hits for a long time. I gave her the Rocket Launcher in Bayjin, and she was actually able to contribute a small amount of AOE damage!
You can sell it to Fuzzfas on the way out of the area.
In my 6 bishops play through I used two in left flank two in right flank two in rear flank and it worked on developing melee skills for all 6 characters
I simply had all of them cast guardian angel 1st round ( soul shield/elemental shield/haste or debuff etc if needed)
Then move if they all couldn't hit all the enemies.
Maces are decent weapons shields provide a little extra protection.
I had just got a good base line of int/pie in first 4 and maxed str/dex for chance to hit/damage.
The back two worked int/pie with the goal was maxing resistances without protections spells so they could heal/cure the front 4. Iron will isn't the best expert skill but I was curious how many spell points they would have at high levels.
