Using Cosmic Forge CF Injector on a Mod
It's about that time for another Wizardry run (I really should actually finish the game one of these decades) and was planning on a game using the Christian Coder mod with a few tweaks, as I think some of the class changes are a bit over the top.

My problem is that I don't really want to manually copy all the class changes into the Cosmic Forge before making the tweaks. If I don't do that the Cosmic Forge will pull the base game stats from its own .cfdat files and then write them into the Wizardry 8 Data folder.

Is there a reasonably easy way of pulling class data back from the Wizardry 8 installation (that has now been modified by me applying the Christian Coder mod) into the Cosmic Forge so I can further tweak the settings?

CC made few more changes to the game, for example to the XP charts, that you cannot even modify in the cosmic forge.

I tried to inject my mod changes into his exe, but the result was a hybrid, where some of my changes were successfully injected, but some were ignored. For example, I could modify the starting stats of the dwarven race, but I couldn't remove stealth from mages.

I don't think you can "extract" his changes into the cosmic forge.

Thanks both. Sounds like running the mod with vanilla .exe and then modifying with CF injector will do what I want. Just means I have to make any changes from vanilla myself, which is fine.
