Does anyone still do the Retro Dungeons?
I haven't done them since I first played this on Cd. Can't remember any good stuff in them. Just getting lost a lot! Think they were level based(?)
Thanks!

I do them every play through....there is some good stuff to be had...and maybe tough fights!

The one in mountain wilderness is good for guaranteed high level enemies who give good experience, as well as the unique amulet drop from the boss.

Thanks, I'm always looking for good fights! :)

yah, i almost always go through the Mountain one, and half the time the Northern. Not the Graveyard, though, there's nothing in either the graveyard or the dungeon there that i want.

I was in the graveyard and noticed the 6 tombstones with symbols you can click on. Why do they create puzzle without giving you any clue how to solve the puzzle? How am I suppose to know I need a DAGGER to open the dungeon? I only found that out online.

They were originally like Easter Eggs, in the game. I found out from the first discussion groups after the game came out. I do not know of anybody, then or recently, who claimed they found the way to unlock them on their own.

The game can certainly be played without them, but I usually do them. The map when inside is funky because it partially shows all three dungeons at once, a bug that has been there since the beginning.

In the graveyard, the final dagger needs to click on a corner behind the Mummy, iirc.

The only one, which you *might* solve by yourself is the one in the Mountain Region. All of the pillars are pretty near each other. The "Clues" to solving these puzzles come when you rest. You get pictures of a dagger, a short staff, and a sword.

I had no idea about them until I read about it online. Heh, I missed the whole graveyard before I read about it online! :)

Oh how I regret stumbling into the graveyard dungeon. I am stuck in the damn dungeon now because I don't know how to get out. The map is very bad and it seems to be looping from one end to another. I have been wondering aimlessly in a loop and don't know how to get out :-(

When will I ever gonna complete even one playthrough of this game! LOL

Yeah, you get lost - a lot! Do you have X-aay yet? It really helps...
AwakenOne2010 Nov 30, 2019 @ 6:10pm
I have X-ray spell BUT I don't even know where the exit is on the map. Is it possible to use console to teleport out of the dungeon? Looks like maybe an end to this playthrough :-(

Use flamestrykes site. There’s a map there.

The Flamestyrke site is gone because the creator passed away, but it moved to zimlabs...It is the best site for the game.

There are maps for it you can download. The invisible wall was pretty annoying i remember...

Yes, it was a sad day when Flamestryke passed away, but at least others have done their best to keep her memory alive.

Yeah, I agree.
