Well, except you're looking for a game that's exactly like Wizardry 8... that is, featuring continuous movement instead of grid-based, having no random encounters etc. Personally, I haven't come across a dungeon crawler/blobber as innovative and advanced as Wizardry 8, one that I would like playing as much as Wizardry 8.
You can also try Wizardrs and Warriors, a game from one of the creators of Wizardry 5-7.
Might and Magic 9 was a disappointment that greatly reduced the magic system, eliminated flying and invisibility, made movement on the ground linear when outside of town areas and added quite a few player (not character) dexterity elements. It was fun anyway, but not nearly as much as the other Might and Magic games.
Dungeon Lords is another. I've not copleted it tho....yet
