How to open map ?

i need to open map this all ,but I dont remember how (

Use the journey map kit. You'll see more features as their mapping skill increases.

i press read or assay but it does not open the map .
I simply don't know the commands to operate the journey map kit . Clicking on it does not open it .

You have to use it from the gameplay screen, not the inventory. Use, then click on a character, then select the JMK in their inventory.

That's like vital information... why did they make it so complicated to simply look at a map?

I cannot find the mentioned JMK. do you need someone to have certain skill points in mapping before the computer gives you one?

after you find the map and give it to a character with the mapping skill it will open and show on screen.

You find it in the wilderness area that's near New City.
