About old patches and "mods"

Playing "gold" I miss stuff, which I had when the game was released:

1) Slow motion during fight to see all these messages, e.g. hide was successful etc.

2) Manually distributing the attribute points instead of this annoying random distribution

There are still many hits, if i search this on the net, but whatever I download won't work
(Windows 10 message is something like "...this app won't run on your PC...")

Any ideas?

I'd get 1 or 2 old computers to run your favorite old games .. before they become extinct like the dinosaurs.

Surprisingly, "Crusaders" plays nicely on my 2.4 Ghz CPU / Win-7. I guess DoxBox is alot more capable now days (to scale down computer power). Long ago, I used MoSlow with disappointing results.

I'm expanding my archives of game utilities and mods for all my old games. Thankfully flash drives are very affordable now days.
