Retrieving a thrown weapon or using cheat codes to get it back

I just got the Vulcan Hammer from the merchant at River Styx for 22.500 golds, most expensive weapon in the game. During a fight with goblins at the swamp area i wanted to try the throw option of VH to see what will happen. But after i won the fight, i saved the game without noticing that the hammer is gone. What can i do to retrieve it or if can't is there a cheat command to get back the Vulcan Hammer?

Im sure as you know by now, yeah anything thrown is just gone. im not sure any of the cheat engines still work on modern systems. out of curiosity, how'd the throw attack do? hit? miss?
