(SPOILERS) Eternal Suburbia isn't very fun
It's just fine initially, not as interesting as the pool rooms but still a solid maze to navigate, but the other two thirds of it aren't amazing.

Both of the other suburbs, ESPECIALLY the guest house, have just way too many random different doors to go through that lead absolutely nowhere, with no hint as to what to do.
This works better in the pool rooms due to the various little secrets, easter eggs, and set pieces you stumble upon while exploring, which can help you build a rough mental map of where things are, whereas in the suburbs it's just "blindly bumble around until you just so happen to find where you need to go with nothing interesting to see along the way."

I lucked out in the second area and heard the elevator from outside while running around, and was able to find the right door and then navigate to it, but the guest house is the most miserable unfun maze I've ever had to slog through. I understand that these places are supposed to be huge, disorienting, and difficult to navigate, but I think this goes a little too far and just becomes boring; I don't feel like I'm solving a puzzle, I feel like I'm stuck going in circles with no idea what I'm supposed to be doing, looking to every little thing thinking "is this supposed to be a hint or...?" I only solved this part through blind luck after an hour of running around and finally stumbled on the exit.

Now, I'm not asking for a quest marker to lead me straight to the end, but I think some better sign posting would really help this level out a lot.

i had the same issues the first time i did this i kept running and running and that was the mistake dont run you need to walk slow and listen if you listen carefully you can hear the alarm of the elevator and it points you to where you must go just dont go running keep walking that's way easier running makes that chapter way harder then it has to be trust me i know all about it i spend 3 hours running though the guest house level.
Yeah, there is a bit too much repetition, and you find yourself just wandering and backtracking aimlessly. Its supposed to be part of the experience I suppose, but its a somewhat too much.
I just walked in the north direction, after which the opposite side of the dome was already visible. And then the sound of the elevator helped.
There's few secrets in suburbia. But pool have it more. Recently i've found picture of baby licking page of strange letters, when you look at it- there's creepy sound behind you... O_O
Guest house area was the hardest for me. It drove me crazy for a while, but in the end I enjoyed it. I guess it might be too much for some people, but a maze should be hard and make you feel helpless. Dreamcore does this better than any other games I've played.
honestly, i really liked the first part, because of how it looked it, to me, really gave that surreal look, espiecally when looking past the fence while walking up a steep hill.

only wish the VHS effect was better, game just blurs out for me when its on
I started there now too, and I think it fits more to the dreamcore style than the dreampools, but from a gameplay perspective its not as fun as the dreampools
yaa. i agree. though i did like the first part of eternal suburbia, the latter two mazes were definitely unfun, boring, and frustrating. where as the dreampools had so much more stuff to see
Just got out, but I agree. I had trouble exiting, if I didn't hear the elevator dings, I would not have made it out. This level in particular is very ablest, in that if someone had trouble with red or green colors, or hearing problems, they would have a difficult time getting out. I think there needs to be some improvements because if someone wasn't paying attention to the dings, they'd waste a lot of time trying to progress.
I didn't mind getting randomly lost in Eternal Suburbia.

Fortunately I was able to track the elevator in the backrooms area.

Amazingly I was able to first go into the Guest House and then into The Neighborhood on the same game play.

In the Guest House there's a red door you can find after entering one of the white doors far straight and to the right. It takes a while, but it'll lead you into what looks to be Level !! or Run For Your Life. You run crazy fast, ambiance is dark and feels like something's after you. And its a dark red light all over.
