Type of Game?
Are there any puzzles, objectives, story, or endings in this game or is it like Pools where it's just getting lost in the weird atmosphere/vibes?
Looks neat either way, I'm just curious.

At the moment it is more of a psychological-horror walking sim with a bit of reference to the backrooms lore, especially level 37, the dreampools.
While Pools has some Jumpscares and a lot of uncanny valley, Dreamcore is mostly about the athmosphere of the rooms and architecture itself.
I won't spoil the dreamcore experience. Just give it a try. The demo is for free after all. :)

Sorry but I disagree about the first sentence. As a player of Pools, I didn't see any obvious jumpscares in Pools, only at the ending of Chapter 6 you would find mannequins blocking your way. Nevertheless, I hope that both games can give me more surprise.

You're right. Pools has none of this silly in-your-face jumpscares (just like dreamcore) but still a few scary moments. It is more about the unsettling environment and some creepy situations. For example:

*spoiler*

You can find hands lurking through a manhole when you take the right way in the labyrinth. It is in a dead end. Gave me some chills when I first saw it cause I didn't expect something like this.
You can see them at another place later but just for a short moment. So both are easy to miss.
