Not their fault if you don't have the cognitive ability to enjoy the game as intended.
It's a special feeling...
there's no plot, its just an atmospheric walking simulator. the whole point is to immerse in it and just wander around
Miasmata, it's not quite as outwardly spooky like the pools are but there is a big cat that stalks you. It gives incentives for the player to play it because there is challenge in its unique momentum-based movement system with a clear defined goal of curing the plague the player is infected with and, ultimately, escape.
It's completely and totally valid to just not vibe with this particular style of game, but to call it a scam because it wasted your precious time is ridiculous.
