"New ending"?
I just finish the game for the first time, knowing that it has two endings, a good one and a bad one. So what does it mean that in my playthrough i got two smiley balls (actually three) that blocked me while i was going down into the basement stairs? Lol

Just saw two balls blocking me the passage, then when i turned back another one was on the door with that ":)" dumb face and i got the credits..

My playthrough was pretty long, 8 hours of exploring and no "spooky" encounter. Does anybody has experienced the same ending?

Yeah, I heard that the intent of the developer is to remove the monster. Maybe the monster has already been removed in the latest demo, and that's why there's no more good/bad ending (as the bad ending requires you to agitate the monster)?

Personally, I think it's a mistake. It was fine the way it was.

Nah that "glitchy" animation on that 2d lookin childrens drawing looked like he was breakdancing or something, goofy and not coherent to the rest of the design at all.

The solution was fixing the monster, not lazily removing it.

If you are on discord, you will know that from the first day I released the demo I was never happy with the entity, it was an artistic decision to remove the entity. Not the experience I was looking for. As the developer of the game, I'm happy to have removed it

In that case, it's unfortunate your vision differs so much from mine, as I enjoyed the previous version of the demo a lot and thought it was perfect - but I understand this is YOUR baby and it has to be the way you want it to be. I would be the same if I was a developer.

It often happens that the vision of the creator is not the same as that of the one who enjoys the creation. It is impossible to make everyone happy, but anyway thanks for supporting the project 😁

As long as they don't voice any unapproved opinions on the Discord, right? Because then they get hit with "timeouts" and eventually bans. At least you can't censor me here.
