Good Demo but finding the key item is a bit hard

So i played the demo and had so so so so much fun. exploring and everything was really really cool but here is where i have my issues. While looking for the flashlight i only heard the music 3 times in 3 hours of playing. I was never able to find the source of the music and even when i thought i did the music disappeared and went to another area despite being very loud. i enjoyed the game but i think there could be a better way to deal with the flashlight than music or at the very least having it only spawn in 2-3 areas as again despite searching for hours I only heard the music 3 times and never once found the flashlight. Maybe im just bad and need to get good. Maybe i just had bad luck but not being able to find the flashlight ruined any fun i was having. The area we are searching is far far too big for how many different areas there seems to be for the flashlight to spawn or for the flashlight to have completely random spawns/changing places every time you leave the game.

I can't figure out how to beat it at all. Is it random each time or something? I tried going down tunnel slide and the elevator but nothing happened. Is there some kind of secret to it?

I understand your problem, and in fact there were some bugs with the sound that made that in some parts you couldn't hear the sound. it's something that I'll fix tomorrow in the next update

Honestly Happy to know things are going to be changed and that you are actively making the game better. im so excited to see everything that you will do with the game! i know im getting it when it comes out

After setting my volume to max I was able to faintly hear the music. In comparison, my footsteps on the water is way to loud, kinda hurting my ears.
