Help!!! Ostown projector crashes game

So the only other post I've seen talking about this same issue never really resolved the my dilemma Imma need a definitive answer.

i am on Chapter 2 right after the fight with the robot dragon the projectors just got power. I am trying to go back into Ostown but every time i try to the game simply crashes. I tried the other projectors and they work just fine its literally just the one projector that just does not want to work.

did you ever figure this out? i am stuck on a black screen every time i try to go thru ostown projector

I have exactly the same problem! I sent a bug report. It's not tolerable to have this kind of bug!

I doubt an otherwise dead development studio will fix its game but i did this and it fixed the problem for me. And by this i mean download the dll file from the link and put it into the game files as instructed.

I just wanted to say thank you so much. The Epic Mickey Rebrushed release got me back into replaying the older games, including this one. In the past I streamed EM2 on my PS5, but decided to play it on PC for the first time, where I encountered the Os Town projector crash issue. I thought I was going to have to give up on the PC version altogether, but the fix file you shared worked! Thanks again.
