Stuck on chapter 2: The Old City
Just after the dialog, Monkey has to jump from a pipe to another, in order to get on the other side of a gate to open it. He asks Trip not to make any noise because the mechs could locate them. Anything in the world can make him jump to the last plataform to the right before he gets to the ground. He goes up, down the pipe but refuses to jump back (left) or ahead (right). Any ideas?

You can see it (working) at 4:43 in this video.

I'm playing using WASD and <space>

Forget it! After lots of ups and downs and several reloadings, the game decided that I should go on. Finishing chapter two :D

How many times is several? I have tried over 10 times with no results.

Over ten times. I tried jump left, move the camera, jump right, no success. Alt F4, googling, back to game, all cut scene, tried again and so on, over and over. I reload more than 10 times. Exit the game, back to the game. The last try I walked to the blocked gate, returned to the right path (pipe-jumping) and did it in one time, non stop. And Monkey finally did it. I guess this is a glitch and I know there will be more "stucks" throughout the game. It's alive and has its own decisions about letting us continue.

@marknr: Don't give up. The game is great and it's worth a try. There are issues but I think they will correct those bugs with updates. You'll succeed.

This is ridiculous. I can't get past this point and every time I "reload", I have to watch the whole damn cut-scene again.

It may have just been coincidental, but on the occasion that I was actually able to get past this, I didn't immediately try jumping up the pipe after Trip dropped the bridge, but instead wandered around a bit and gathered some red orbs to the left of the bridge. Hope that maybe helps somebody else.

To skip the cutscene, press Backspace.

I wandered, I went to the gate, the camera moved to the pipe, indicating the way I was supposed to go, lol

Why being so anxious? Let it be :D

I have the same issue. Monkey wont jump whatever I do before. Annoying bug.

I reinstalled the display drivers (since I got a slow down when my machine updated to Win 8.1) and everything is fixed. Even the fps of the game are up now. Now the game is flawless.

Stuck again at 2:48 like in this video, lol (I thought I was finishing Chapter 2 but I was wrong. Now, I'm almost finishing it, if Monkey decides to go on). Hate pipes :D

On the advice of someone else who was able to get past the corner pipe part - I tried reducing the display resolution and changing the strength with which I pushed the forward ... thingy (I'm using a controller, not keyboard) and was eventually able to land it at the appropriate angle to be able to jump to the next platform.

I've changed resolution from 1600x900 to 1280x720 and 1024x768. Didn't work. I set back to 1600x900 and tried a couple more times and it allowed me to move on. It only works for me when Monkey does a non-stop movement (after trying a several times). I'm playing WASD <space> (aka 'keyboard') :D But thanks for the advice. Now, I'm on Chapter 3.
