This one is a contender for people who can't run Mecha Break (my buddy has 2gb of vram)

This is the best mecha year so far

I think I remember that War Robots series is actually broken with paytowin unless they changed that. I spent 5$ once to get those DOTS guns and destroyed a whole lobby by myself all week until someone else that paid 10$ for a stronger mech that requires either several months of waiting or real money to get, who then decided to eat all the babies killed me. May be a different version but I never touched the series after that.

This is the war robots sequel I think
I need my fix until this game is back up, so hopefully one of these is fun
So I like Mech games where it "simulates" what fighting in a clunky robot will feel like (e.g titan fall), i also like mech games that are so far into the future the mech can do the impossible (e.g. Gundam).

I have given War Robots: Frontiers a try and it does not feel like it does either. just feels like you are are a robot and not a pilot controlling a robot, also, there is no weight to the weapons, i don't feel like i'm in a heavy machine with heavy weapons, maybe i need to play longer but that is what it feels like to me so far.

if you are going to make the game 3rd person, you have to do what Mecha BREAK does, show the pilot, show the inside of the mech as much as possible, then it will feel like a mech game.

if you have never played titan fall i strongly recommend you try it.

I might give the other game on this list a try later or watch youtube videos.

Try Mechwarrior Online its half sim half shooter

You build the mechs and they are slow and clunky

just use the flea,sure u die in 1 hit but u go 180 km+
why didn't you suggest ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON? should be one of the first to come to mind...maybe because it's not multiplayer like mecha break? or because it's too difficult?
I started with MMOs and then kinda shifted towards less MMO

I forgot Armored Core had PVP
