Welkin-g is over-tuned

His boomerangs are incorporated in his bully box,
His flash wrecks's complex shield and blocking shields AND all drones in the flash, with lingering gas that block energy shots.
He gets shield that also disperses more gas.
Last but not least his spin to win attack just staggers Panther and Alysnes into oblivion. You cannot do anything as opposing melee as it has auto parry.

I must be fighting dumb Welkins...As a Panther, I absolutely dominate them. Panther cant be stunned or staggered while his shield is active, and I can keep it up longer than a Welkin can survive usually. But, I'm only in Gold Tier, so maybe I'll get a taste of this in higher ELO.

high elo welkin know when to melee

Panther main as well, when someone knows their full kit in higher Elo such as Plat (2500) its painful as both complex shielding and blocking shield are gone when he flashes you (he gets 2 flash bangs).

as a welkin main, it's very hit or miss depending on if people know their stuff. panthers are a pretty good thorn in my side, especially when i wasn't expecting them. alysnes can be annoying with the parry, but it's nowhere near as brutal of a matchup as trying to solo a panther. if you're getting caught by a welkin, odds are you were either ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around solo somewhere from the fight and they respawned, or you got too close and we wanted an easy kill.

perfect block and you kill him and if you do that in PVP Alysnes is just the best counter of Welkin

if the welkin spin to win then float-> gauss ->melee twice then gauss again if he just melee then perfect parry it,it's easier than even last closed beta i hold the shield for 1 sec and it still parry,also the charged shot of alysness seem to be buffed instead of like water shooter of last closed beta it now drains shield real fast, it even clears fluid armor really fast

I can attest to this Alysnes are my bane and panthers cuz welkin is meant to fight supports, stegos, hurricanes, infernos, and occasionally falcons or skyraiders if they are close and not paying attention to me. Welkin has now melee counters to Alysnes or panther’s shields. Welkin has nothing to do against them which isn’t fair and makes him less of a brawler. His howitzer is useless with pitiful dmg in pvp. If it did more dmg to shields or stagger a bit it br more utility than anything and gives it a chance to brawl with Alysnes and panther a bit more

Generaly when i see a Welkin the only thing that happen is "brrrrrrrrr" and then he die.

Stay close to your tank when you see one and you should be fine.
