You know mods wont even work for Verge on release, right?
Mashmak is kinda in danger of being pointless as is.
My current suggestion is
- SVP should get point protection / no decrease of point.
- Pilots in squad should be able meet together in Hangar as Gathering Hub just like monster hunter, so we can gesture/emote dance there, but i guess they will very likely do that.
- In the Custom Room, there should be more room settings, like no mod buff, ect.
- there should be more Mod Loadout, rather than all mech share only 3 loadout, each mech should at least have 3 mod loadout and we can rename the loadout so we can remember which loadout is for which diffrent built.
- in Mech or Pilot Editing, theres should be many loadout to save too.
- Modular Weapon should be balanced, Dual Auto Beam cannon is Too OP and need to be nerfed, it has higher damage than a sniper beam and also have the same range as a sniper beam cannon, thats just illogical unbalance.
1) "explore the hangar" option deleted
2) Glaiders get more movility because now are useless
3) Modular weapons will not be summoned, ill make it drop from bossess and it will RNG, like no one will be using never again that dual beam cannon unless it drops, and also i will nerf tha weapon like yesterday
4) i delete the red coin from mashmak, because is useless, if you want skins get the blueprint and investigate or buy it with money, is just skins
5) Make unique mods (legendaries) very hard to find that will not give any disadvantage when equipped
6) Co-op PvE to mega super giant bossess like in the beggining of the game to get unique event rewards
7) More maps, like floating islands or something big to make a 10 vs 10 match
8) put grenades, to make you invisible, intargeted, cure you or shield you or something.
And the list keeps going and going but i dont want to write that much
-not get stuck on dead mechas (like panther charge)
-NO autocannon (honestly just remove weapons or less effect of the gameplay in mashmak)
-would be nice to have some explanation what the modul stats means what
-possibility to change your pilot
-(im not sure you can work on this with the moduls but) sometimes i hover my mouse over a target its locking on and i follow that target and the game just switch when my target gets close to its teammates while i keep my mouse/camera on them
-more simplified menu(sure after getting use to it you can navigate through but its not beginner friendly at all)
-i'd love some advices or tips/hints for the challenges not just like "Oh, you failed 4245253245 times again? better luck next time!"
Lol in all seriousness I do think the Mashmak game mode needs some serious re-balance. I have to agree with everyone else that getting to spawn with 2 beam canons is pretty OP. That weapon out damages the sniper striker by damage per shot but also the amount you can shoot back to back, its kinda nuts.
Played with RTX 3050 laptop with R5 5600H 16Gb RAM, only got 60fps with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ graphics and no shadows
I'm not saying that as any sort of excuse but I think PvP in Mashmak would be a bit more interesting if the modular weapons were a little more balanced.
That said, I prefer having some fun, good weapons to use. Don't over-correct and go the way of Helldivers2, ruining all the fun guns and making the game a reloading simulator.
