the fact u dont even realize u are playing vs bots is so funny to me. but i guess it works "gamers" like u think they are actually a beast in this game and wishlist. thats all what they wanted from this demo
No you definitely have and didn't realize it; I've been on since this test started and picked up on few bot habits (up to master 1 currently).
-bots don't boost to get around until they see a target to get in range with. This super easy to catch if you respawn at same time as them.
-Adding to the non boosting thing; you can catch them colliding along the same "pathing" since they aren't boosting.
-On Eye of Mithra if they have the key, they go behind the rocket and jump up in one spot over and over.
-Also on Eye they will IMMEDIATELY ping once a key is active (to the millisecond) over and over and it will always be the higher pitch female voice.
-If you really pay attention you'll see exact repeat character models with different names: one ive noticed is red hair, pigtails female with strong jawline.
Edit: forgot to add they extremely suicidal and dumb; like you'll watch a welkin bot try to normal melee a deployed tricera over and over when a normal welkin player would do overheads or spin.
I wonder if that also means if people rage-quite during a match, no one will immediately notice because they will just be replaced by a bot duplicate?
like match mirroring etc.
In harbor, you always start at the same side, you are never on the oposing team. for exemple. the elevator will always be on the left after exit, never on the right ( other team).
in Desert your team always land near the cliff of entrance A. which is near the only launcher of the map. and so on.
this Makes me beleive all opposing team are bots for these matches, because i was never on the oposing team after 100+ games. with 5 maps. the math doesnt adds up.
Every single player was friend blocked and zero talking. My lone death was to that SVP Alysnes who after bursting a Welkin point blank, ignored him and did an instant 180 upward turn and meleed me out of the air.
Also what the guy above me said about same starting positions on maps. That's actually a really good way to determine as well.
