No, it does not go against mech games and even then, as I stated before, they're aiming to make this game like mecha anime, there's many mecha anime with mechs that go invisible, many that are snipers. For that matter what people finds fun is subjective and per person. I don't find it very fun having an immovable Tricera who doesn't have to interact with anyone else more than throwing his shield up and he gets a free win as a result but apparently many others do. I don't find it fun when a Welkin can leap/dash from one side of the map to the other, pin someone in a box, and one shot them even easier than a Narukami, all while losing no health and having no punishment risk for it. I have watched Welkin's do this to both planes, both healers, and both snipers. Welkin can also walk up to a Stego or Tricera and melt their health in moments while taking little to no damage. I have a Welkin game where I leaped into the middle of all 5 enemy players, boxed them and became a beyblade killing 3 of them at the cost of about 15%-20% HP.
Now that's not a very fun interaction to be on the receiving end of either now is it?

Yeah, I think it's safe to just start ignoring any points you state. Tricera literally can't do anything against snipers, you completely counter Tricera and Stego. Yes, they're braindead, but their entire gameplay revolves around positioning. They're also in constant danger because they are highly immobile and have no escapes other than Stego having his smoke, but this does not save him from melee. He is highly weak to melee, Tricera isn't. Tricera is, atm, too overbuffed because his overshield ability comes back way too fast. He also heals a ton. I'm sure they'll eventually nerf this because it's something everyone is complaining about.

Welkin actually has to take a risk to get someone in the box. If he jumps into an enemy team then they can insta-delete the box. I've had it happen before, especially when Tricera or Stego are nearby. His AOE swing is strong, but it's also very easy to dodge. I body other Welkins because they don't realize you can't just spin 24/7. It does less damage, is slower, and doesn't have tracking like your regular swings. It is unblockable though which is why you have to alternate. That being said, he's easy to dodge and counter which is why Alysnes can beat him 1v1 since he has more health and the ability to counter his melee attacks or avoid them. Panther also has a skill match-up because Panther's shield can make him immune to flinch which is what Welkin desperately needs to not have people run away from him.

As for Triceras, you're straight up lying. It's always a struggle to deal with Tricera because he has an anti-melee shield as well as a ton of health. A good Tricera repositions and uses this as a way to parry so he can stun and unload on you. You cannot kill a full health Tricera who actually knows how to play. You need a teammate or you need to catch them by surprise. Stegos are weaker to melee but it's the tradeoff for having higher burst damage than Tricera. They're meant to be protected by teammates because he's basically artillery. He can absolutely demolish you if you are busy with someone else.

If you're killing other melees so easily with Welkin then you're likely playing against bots if you claim to be such a high level while playing Welkin. Most melees in platinum know how to deal with him to some extent. I also play Alysnes so I fight him, hell I even do it with Luminae because I know he cannot catch me. You either fought bots or fought in a low ranked lobby. All it takes is one decent Panther, Alysnes, or other Welkin to counter the spin move. Another Welkin itself can literally stop you from spinning if he spins as well. It's a tactic they do sometimes so their other teammate can kill you while stunned.

You wouldn't know any of this though because you're usually halfway across the map invisible.

Nah I guess for them it's fun cause they play as Welkin.
Personalyl i always loved snipers in games. Stealthy supporting your team was and is a lot of fun for me. Warframe? Ivara main with a bow cause it's fun for me

I like Narukami style (I played all mechs in Closed Beta ) and I agree heavily with ★猫★
Playing Naru is not jsut sitting on a hill ,drinking tea and clicking left mouse button. If you have enemy team that ignores you? maybe but even then it's better to move so Panther or Alysnes will not come for you. Or to find better position to help team at current objective point.
Sniper in every game (and irl) are not "fair" to fight. They are at distance.
But even less fun is being bullied for you liking this style of playing a game.
I seen people sending death threats to players who like Naru . For liking a video game character/class! .. I dislike Wellkin ,Alysnes and Aquila cause they are so unfun to fight against. Wellkin that just closes you in a box and spins.. wow what amazing attack. Aquila that can jsut stay in the air and destory all my drones and hunt me while I need to do some guerilla tactics to survive and deal with them. Alysnes with what it feel like 3 lives before they die (so they mostly capture keys in Eyes of Misra).

It's not fun but I try my best. I know that taking out those targets can help team a lot .
Being hunted by Falcon? Sure I expected that so it only means I need to get better.

I will still play as Naru cause it brings me fun ,even tho she got nerfed thanks to people who can't play against her.

Have a good day ,

So, first off, scroll back up and reread my message, inbetween you posting the reply I edited and it contains my stats now in response to your winrate comment near the top as well as video showing just how invicible the invisible Narukami really is. It also showcases just how little damage Narukami does against Tricera and Stego who know what they're doing at the bottom.

---

I'm ignoring your points when I went through each and every one of them to break apart what you said. Sure.
Why don't you scroll back up and read what the other players have said, I'm not the only one confirming this. If the Tricera is good at switching between the shield and heals, it doesn't die. Especially if it has a healer sitting on top of it so it doesn't have to drop the shield. When his shield is down I have a chance to take about 20%-30% of his HP depending on if it's a full charge with both drones or not. This is why I keep trying to point out to you that in higher tiers your complaints stop existing. But sure my friend of the cute n funny, I'm lying when I'm literally asking people how to counter this exact issue I described and they're telling me to not play Narukami because Tricera counters Narukami but instead play Aquila as Aquila is not effected by the shield apparently.
Nvm, I misread what you said, I'll correct this in a moment.Nvm again, I didn't misread what you said, I got confused between the sniper vs Welkin comments, blame lack of sleep, reading is hard.
As for Welkin vs Tricera, I do it all the time, next time I play Welkin I'll get a clip.

Here's a really good breakdown someone made of what goes on with Narukami including how Welkin can for the most part become invincible against her:

As well as my own responses of being shocked about it:

A Falcon player mocking snipers because just how strong Falcon is against them:

I'd recommend reading through that whole thread though tbh.

I'm very aware of Welkin being able to be parried, I've died to other Welkin's exactly the way you describe, it doesn't change that he has to be parried for that to happen. Guess what snipers and planes can't do?

Did you seriously not read what I said about being on objectives capping objectives as a NARUKAMI, THE WEAKEST STRIKER (health and armor) IN THE GAME!? LMAO.

Also, read through this, other players in this exact same thread are telling me to use Aquila instead because Aquila doesn't have this problem.

Narukami Often if you notice them firing just fire away in that area 9x9 you'll often hit it then they panic running making themself a target

Aquila either shoot it first or dodge like crazy for cover it only has like 6 ish rapid bursting doesn't handle well vs flyers dodging around them just gotta watch out for that crawl
