Mecha BREAK

Ace anti Cheat how to remove (not needed based on tests) (but in case you need)
down below i explain how to manually remove it. ALTHOUGH it shouldn't be necessary as it uninstalls when you uninstall the game. but in the off chance it does not i hope the instructions down below help.

Get a better cheat engine, it will come out eventually. it always happen. It will be a game of "cat vs mouse" though. So really not worth it.

If you are worried about your data, I recommend virtualization your OS and or even better running it from a separate machine. In fact I wouldn't even recommend using windows if you care about your data. It will be a lot easier than going through every programs and adjusting your security to counter act them. And believe me nearly every program gathers information from, just that some are more intrusive than other, and some are better at gathering than others.
Meanwhile on Linux you just delete the prefix lmao. Too bad it won't run on Linux to begin with.

Can't you just uninstall it normally through the "Installed Apps" menu on Windows?
I haven't tried it yet as I'm still playing the game, but it does show up there.

Nah, explain here. It's fine. If you don't want to, that's also fine.

1 type CMD on your windows search bar

2 right click it and run as admin

3 run these 3 commands 1 at a time
sc query ACE-GAME
sc query ACE-BASE
sc query "AntiCheatExpert Service"

IF SAYS : The specified service does not exist as an installed service.

then nothing more is needed it uninstalled when you uninstalled the game

IF SAYS : its installed then do the following|

4 run these commands
sc delete ACE-GAME
sc delete ACE-BASE
sc delete "AntiCheatExpert Service"
sc delete "AntiCheatExpert Protection"

REPEAT STEP 3 check if installed after STEP 4

After that just delete the AntiCheatExpert Directory.

you can check if the anticheat is still running / installed
via this script

sc query "AntiCheatExpert Service"
pause
If you delete the game without disabling the kernel level anti cheat they can still access all of the files on your pc.
To "disable" it after deletion Open CMD in administrator mode and enter these commands:

Hey there! Just wanted to thank you for this info. I was concerned about ACE remaining on my system (Win 10) after uninstall, but these queries put my mind at ease.

While the game is installed (but not running) the commands are only identifying ACE-BASE as installed:

With game installed: https://i.imgur.com/Abhenjo.png

But after uninstalling via Steam, and without even rebooting the machine, ACE appears to be gone:

After Steam uninstall:: https://i.imgur.com/JkyDjtK.png

And attempting to delete these items via CMD also fails because they're "not installed."

Very glad ACE is packaged into the game's uninstaller and not left behind!
