what is the point of the character creator

why have such a detailed character creator setup when you don't see the character literally right after the creation screen? it was pointless.

You will be able to walk around the base with your character after the tutorial missions.

There's on-foot base stuff and that opens the potential to eventually have online multiplayer lobbies similar to Warframe or something.

You also see your pilot in various cutscenes including when you're killed and forced to eject.

it really has no point, this is a mech game, and the fact that they put that much effort into character creation is rather ridiculous.

Or you can troll them even more by equipping the clown mask or something I guess.

As a side note, how does MvP even work? i've played like 4-5 matches, 2 of which were with the default mech which I'm pretty sure I suck at using and I got MvP for every single one of them.

I refuse to believe I'm doing a better job than (fairly more) experienced players.

okok, i didn't know you can walk around the base and stuff. don't get me wrong, i like how in depth it is. just thought it was a waste of time if you don't actually get to see or use them

It would have been a waste of time if the mechs were ♥♥♥♥, but both mechs and characters ares good so there is no reason to complain for a nice addition
