Am I the only one who wants Awesome Mechs more then Sexy Pilots?

I see folks always talking about the pilot customization and it's just boobs, butts, bodysuit...

And that's cool and all for those who want that, but I want my mech to look badass.

I see customization and it's like, oh here's some colors and like a few decals, nothing fancy.
I want flames on the side of the mech cause adding flames is a proven fact it makes it go faster.
I want bobble heads on the dashboard and christmas lights strung up on the inside.
I want pinup posters and a locket hanging from the ceiling that folks will go "Hey man what's with that locket?" and I go "Don't ask about it" making it mysterious and you KNOW it's plot related and will come up later.
I want a big skull codpiece.
Give me a giant armored tail like mecha godzilla and claws on my hands.

Like if my mech explodes the odds my guy would burst from it and start throwing tiny hands at the opponent's mech is low, but not 0%

Sexy pilots are a selling point and a good reason they'll make money. Their cosmetics are on point, although I think they're being very stingy with not allowing you to freely change things like hair color.

I mean I get why folks like it, but it is kind of lazy design.
Take body, turn it blue from the neck down, add on some lines here and there, and of course the usual energy source looking thingie on the back.
