This is kind of a deal breaker for me. It's a mech, not a character. It's completely absurd that I can be forced to switch to something I enjoy less just because someone else clicked ready quicker.

Have you tried setting the Mech to your default? I'm assuming the MM is partially based on whats set to default.

I do think they should at least allow 2 of the same unit at least, i only play flyers and with skyraider being nerfed to death it’s pretty much a battle to play falcon at every match.

Set up a pre selected mech separately. Do not choose multiple options. In this case, the matching system will prioritize matching non conflicting players for you.

Played 30 hours in both playtests now and never had a suit stolen from me even once, even though im usually afk until the timer is down to 10 seconds

You need to set your default mechs. It will add you to priority over people who have multiple mechs set as their favorite. I think it checks in background what mechs every player has and their priority list and will fill lobbies based on whether everyone can play a unique mech.

Although i think they beansed it a little bit, by having only 3 low cost mechs available for newbies and not provide them with a bit more credits, because you can easily find a lobby where everyone want to play every cheap mech available and rest is filled by people who already has half the roster unlocked.

you can prioritize selecting only one mecha before searching for a match, so that only you can have it.

Only had my main mech stolen from me like once but it made me enjoy playing out another mech and now I enjoy playing Pinaka.
