The biggest problem imo, it's a chinesse game.... It's nothing against them, but we have a cultural difference in term of games and.... Economy
Let's see
Some of the more expensive ones look like they are going to be annoying to get, specially Panther, but so far it looks like it would take less time to unlock everything in this game than just the credit/sample upgrades from Helldivers 2
Hilarious.
Next.
If AC6 was so great then the fanboys would be playing it rather that begging for people to get scammed by it on MB steam discussion.
This game is shafted by design.
For example as a pvp game you have parts that influence stats(and negative stats can be made completely irrelevant, such as melee clash recovery for mechs that do not have melee), the vast majority of which is dropped from a pvpve mode, and the casual mode has no earnings whatsoever.
According to what is available in current demo(it's called demo now, not beta), your typical MB player has 3 choices:
1. slave away at pvpve mode(an extremely awkward mix of BR and extraction shooter), probably getting stomped by people who nolifed pvpve mode(likely in premade coordinated squads, then there's your "teammates" who ran off alone and died like a b****) who already have advantage in parts/stats/gearresearch.
2. just play pvp ranked and be disadvantaged compared to those who nolifed pvpve or paid for battlepass
3. uninstall
The fact that so many "players" can't beat tutorial missions, and existence of bots in pvp mode, doesn't help either.
These issues are actually easily fixed(for example make players unable to damage eachother in msmk, and disable premade squads/partstats in ranked pvp).
But you know they likely won't fix it, because that would generate less engagement for their trend-chasing(a very late one at that) mode and thus less profit.
you are only the second guy I have seen who understands how this game is.
Reminds me of Helldivers 2 launch
Imagine being as ignorant as you are =/ - Gaming on Linux is perfectly fine. Literally the only stuff in my library that does not work flawlessly is stuff with Kernel level Anti-Cheat. Which is about 4 games I havn't played since long before I switched.
