for an open beta still having near 200k players is pretty good imo. Most of the reviews happened right as the open beta launched where there was too many people trying to join in leading to server issues.

I like the demo. It just need a Pve mode like Anthem to be really good. The gameplay is fine. I found it too light and arcady for such big mecha like that. But I like the team play and the difference between every mecha.

The biggest problem imo, it's a chinesse game.... It's nothing against them, but we have a cultural difference in term of games and.... Economy

Let's see
well the anti cheat is the issue
I gave it a negative review because the I already don't like the look of the grind. The gameplay is still fantastic and I'm still going to play when it releases, but man... The grind to unlock the mechs is shaping up really badly. Hopefully they tone down the grind, but I'm not really expecting it. I can only imagine how annoying the grind will be for people who main the excessive cost mechs if they keep it as is for release.

i Don't know if it will slow down much but I've only played half a day today and I got half of them, granted, they were the cheaper ones, but still, that's quite a light grind so far.

Some of the more expensive ones look like they are going to be annoying to get, specially Panther, but so far it looks like it would take less time to unlock everything in this game than just the credit/sample upgrades from Helldivers 2

Yes really.

When I want to play PVP I don't want to be forced into playing PVPVE.

When I want to play PVE I don't want to be forced into playing PVPVE.

To be stronger at PVPVE and PVP I'm also forced to play more PVPVE(instead of like an actual BR where what you find in match determines your strength) and extract the parts, for research...etc. See the problem?

If effect from parts are limited to casual, non-ranking mode, that might be a different story. But that's not what I'm seeing here, and thus this game is badly designed.

That's more like a you only problem. You're unable to see real issue with the game.
See, actual fans of the game would admit game has problem and want the game improved; you toxic fanboys just want a trash game - because you tasted feces, you want others to taste the same so you feel better about your own failure.

It's extra hilarious because my fanboy comment was in reply to someone else yet you took it personally when I didn't even recognize your existence. You have to be pretty mad to be making that mistake.

Makes it extra hilarious seeing you say about not even recognizing my existence as if i wasnt the one you replied to initially and then another one butted in and dropped out. Then you generalize fanboyism instead of pointing it towards a single individual "as you meant from the beginning" and pretend i took it personal because you failed to properly direct someone in a public disscussion.

I already provided my points that you disregarded as a strawman argument and for that i asked for your actual points because you clearly make it seem as if you sunk hefty amount of your time into the game and had already seen ins and outs, and now you refuse to share your insight with someone who barely started to play and is yet to experience issues you are already familiar with.
So you admit to being toxic fanboy then?

Hilarious.

Next.

People leave negative reviews because it hurts their ego when a game they didn't expect to be good is actually amazing. To people with fragile hearts and small minds, they think of it like a personal attack on their favourite games, how DARE this game be better than their favourite? How dare anyone enjoy something that i assumed will be bad???? ==> negative review to sooth their pains and hide in cope

Filter reviews by language, the reviews are very positive.

English reviews are 80% positive
Portuguese 92% positive

Nearly all of the negative reviews are chinese, and I can't read what they are saying.
it's the 9 to 5 workfoce and schooler;they were waiting to play on weekend but server is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and only get to play a few hours before monday starts

I mean being better than a 2k concurrent player ac6 isn't saying a lot.
If AC6 was so great then the fanboys would be playing it rather that begging for people to get scammed by it on MB steam discussion.

This game is shafted by design.
For example as a pvp game you have parts that influence stats(and negative stats can be made completely irrelevant, such as melee clash recovery for mechs that do not have melee), the vast majority of which is dropped from a pvpve mode, and the casual mode has no earnings whatsoever.

According to what is available in current demo(it's called demo now, not beta), your typical MB player has 3 choices:
1. slave away at pvpve mode(an extremely awkward mix of BR and extraction shooter), probably getting stomped by people who nolifed pvpve mode(likely in premade coordinated squads, then there's your "teammates" who ran off alone and died like a b****) who already have advantage in parts/stats/gearresearch.
2. just play pvp ranked and be disadvantaged compared to those who nolifed pvpve or paid for battlepass
3. uninstall

The fact that so many "players" can't beat tutorial missions, and existence of bots in pvp mode, doesn't help either.

These issues are actually easily fixed(for example make players unable to damage eachother in msmk, and disable premade squads/partstats in ranked pvp).
But you know they likely won't fix it, because that would generate less engagement for their trend-chasing(a very late one at that) mode and thus less profit.

you are only the second guy I have seen who understands how this game is.
The game is boring. Nothing groundbreaking.

Oh, so the chinese servers overloaded?

Reminds me of Helldivers 2 launch
Imagine gaming on Linux .. that’s your problem

Imagine being as ignorant as you are =/ - Gaming on Linux is perfectly fine. Literally the only stuff in my library that does not work flawlessly is stuff with Kernel level Anti-Cheat. Which is about 4 games I havn't played since long before I switched.
