REGION LOCKED characters? Seriously? ✦
Are there any plans to have accounts/characters possible to move servers without having to redo everything from scratch? Why have so many servers when people cannot even interact between each other?

Seems like a terrible idea especially if you have friends from other regions to play with (which is pretty often the case), isn't this is a pretty outdated way to handle server populations? It'll just force everyone to stay at the more popular servers so they can play with friends instead of actually using their own region servers :steamfacepalm:

Last I checked, latency still exists as a problem. You can’t allow carte blanche connections that are slow from the other side of the world to the server. Creates a bad experience for everyone.

Exactly this. Never understood why people want someone connecting to a US server (for example) from Timbuktu with a 13 ping.

Then there's the whole language barrier on top of that. If a team can't communicate, it's not much of a team.

QoL doesn't seem to be a strong suit of this game, so I'd say no.

If someone has 13 ping they are basically sitting in the neighboring building to the servers, so if someone has better ping on US from Timbuktu than the actual US player that tells something.
We also have various comm markers to target literally anything which negates the "language barrier" argument as they are shown to the player in the same language as the game for them. Or do you really wanna sit in the middle of the fight and be texting in the chat with randoms when you could well contribute to the team victory?
